WRIGHT TWP. — Lt. Gov. Austin Davis visited the i2M polymer manufacturing plant on Thursday as part of the “Putting More Money Back in Your Pockets” tour, highlighting investments in assistance programs for Pennsylvanians.

WILKES-BARRE — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Tuesday announced that 67 projects are anticipated to start during the 2026 construction season, and 81 projects will continue in 2026 in the six-county, Dunmore-based region.

At the February meeting of the Mountain Top Historical Society held at the Ice House Pub in Mountain Top, Luzerne County Judge Richard Hughes presided over the installation of officers and newly appointed trustees. Judge Hughes has been a longtime member of the MTHS.

On February 25, 2026, Mrs. Theresa Long, MMI Preparatory School’s Head of School, announced that she will retire at the conclusion of the 2026-2027 academic school year.
