Don't Be Misled

Circulation vs. Readership

This is a very easy concept:

Circulation is the number of papers that are actually printed & circulated. It is a definite number.
Readership is basically a guess as to how many people in a household are reading one paper.
MOUNTAIN PEAKS circulates 4,000 copies* twice monthly. It is fair to say that 2 people in each household read the paper. Therefore, our readership is 8,000 per edition.

According to an October 2020 audit**, our competitor circulates about 778 papers weekly. Readership therefore would be 1556 per edition.
