St. Mary’s holds annual bazaar

St. Mary’s Church, Dorrance, held its annual bazaar on June 22 and 23. In addition to the fabulous potato pancakes, pierogi and haluski, the bazaar took on added significance this year as parishioners bid farewell to St. Jude/St. Mary’s parochial vicar (assistant pastor) Rev. Philbert Takyi-Nketiah who was transferred to administrator of Holy Spirit parish, Mocanaqua on July 1.

A dedicated contributor, Phil was recognized for his exceptional efforts in making the tournament a premier fundraising and autism awareness event in Northeast Pennsylvania.
