MOUNTAIN TOP — Easter is on its way, and families will have an opportunity to enjoy some exciting holiday fun at the annual egg hunt organized by the Fairview Township Recreation Board in conjunction with Wright Township. The festivities will give children a chance to enjoy community events, search for colorful eggs filled with treats throughout the park, while parents and guardians assist the children and enjoy the festivities.

The free event will take place Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at Fairview Township Memorial Park. The organizers invite all families from the community to attend, and children under the age of 12 are welcome to participate in the egg hunt.

The afternoon will include many raffle prizes, free photos with the Easter Bunny, and the egg hunt itself. Families are encouraged to bring a basket or bag to collect eggs during the hunt.

The Fairview Township Recreation Board organizes several community-centered events throughout the year, including an Earth Day cleanup and other seasonal activities aimed at bringing residents of surrounding areas together. Events held by the township often provide opportunities for families to spend time outdoors or unite to make a difference for a good cause.
