Pennsylvania Superior Court Senior Judge Correale Stevens recently presented “Criminal Trials 101” at the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library.
Stevens discussed the role of the judge, prosecutor, defense lawyer and jurors in a criminal trial. Also participating was Magisterial District Judge Ferris Webby, who discussed the role of the district magistrate.
Stevens has served as a member of the state House of Representatives, Luzerne County District Attorney, trial judge and is currently a judge on the statewide appellate Superior Court.
