BUTLER TWP. — Butler Township Police have charged a Drums man with multiple charges after he repeatedly violated a Protection from Abuse (PFA) order.
In January 2025, a PFA order was issued against Thomas P. Fedorko, 44, barring him from a residence on St. Johns Road.
According to a police report:
Police received a call from the victim at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, reporting Fedorko was at the residence. Police responded and apprehended Fedorko as he attempted to flee out the back door.
He was charged with violating the order and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Daniel O’Donnell, who set bail at $5,000. Fedorko was unable to post bail and was lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. Later that day, Fedorko posted bail and was released.
Around 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, police received a call from the victim that Fedorko was back at the residence. Police responded and Fedorko fled on foot. He was chased by police and resisted arrested when he was finally caught by police.
He was charged with violating the protection order and faces criminal charges for evading arrest or detention on foot and resisting arrest.
Fedorko was arraigned by duty Magisterial District Judge Thomas Malloy, who set bail at $25,000 on violating the protection order and $15,000 on the criminal charges.
Fedorko was also charged with an additional charge of violating the protection order as a result of an incident on Dec. 1, 2025. In that case, Fedorko is alleged to have been at the residence, but fled when the victim called 911.
Fedorko remains in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. Hearings are scheduled for later this week in Luzerne County Court.
Conyngham Borough Police assisted in Friday’s arrest.
