Veterans organizations from across Mountain Top conducted Memorial Day ceremonies across Mountain Top on Sunday, May 26. Participating organizations are American Legion Mountain Post 781 along with the post’s auxiliary and junior auxiliary; Sons of the American Legion, and Legion Riders; Dorrance Post 288, and Slocum VFW Post 7918, and White Haven Marine Corps Detachment 1039.
Ceremonies were held at the Slocum VFW Memorial, St Mary’s Cemetery, Dorrance, Emanuel Cemetery, Dorrance, St. Martin in the Field Cemetery, Rice Township, Albert Cemetery, Wright Township, and American Legion Mountain Post 781 memorial.
