Piano students perform at recital

Students of Mary Jane Kotansky, Mountain Top piano teacher, presented their end-of-year recitals on Saturday, Dec. 16, and Sunday, Dec. 17. Recitals were held at The First Welsh Baptist Church in Plymouth. Saturday’s recital took place in the morning and was a relaxed and fun event where the performers wore pajamas. Sunday’s recital took place in the afternoon and was a more traditional event. Students performed Christmas pieces, as well as classical, pop, jazz and classic rock pieces. Kotansky performed a duet arrangement of “Good King Wenceslas” with her daughter, Stephanie Kotansky. Stephanie also performed a solo in each of the recitals.
