Long-time Mountain Top Hose Company No. 1 president David Hourigan was honored by the organization at his final meeting as president on Aug. 21. Hourigan served as the organization’s president for 40 years. He will remain active in the organization as a trustee.
The department’s officers presented Hourigan with a plaque which expresses the hose company’s appreciation for his years of dedicated service. The hose company had its annual elections at the meeting. Jason Menghini was elected its new president.
