The Marian Sutherland Kirby Library held a “Teen Chopped” program on Jan. 31.
Teens had 20 minutes to create a dessert using the mystery ingredients and four items from the pantry table. Their dessert was judged for presentation, creativity, and taste.
“The teens did an amazing job creating their desserts,” library teen services coordinator Lisa Haasis commented. “Everyone’s dessert was very creative,” she added.
The teens were divided into two groups of six each. Two teens received gifts cards for their high scores. Winners of Chic-Fil-A gift cards were Kaelyn Anderson and Sadie Debalko.
