Crestwood High School cheerleaders, who captured seventh place in a national competition held at Disney World recently were feted at Cavanaugh’s Grille. Jim Foley, owner of Cavanaugh’s, treated the squad to pizza, wings, and soft drinks in recognition of their achievement.
The squad competed at the Universal Cheerleading Association High School National championships at Disney World. There were 34 teams from across the country competing in Crestwood’s division. The cheerleaders earned in invitation to the national event by virtue of a third-place finish at a regional competition in Lancaster.
