The Wright Township Volunteer Firemen’s Association will host a free electronics recycling event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 5.
Some items that will be accepted are: desktop computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, servers, routers, flat screen computer monitors, gaming consoles, DVD players, scanners, keyboards and mice.
Items not accepted are tube TVs (flat screens will be accepted for a $20 disposal fee), dishwashers, dryers, microwaves, air conditioners, refrigerators, air purifiers and other home appliances.
Consumer electronics only, please.
The association is partnering with KVS Computers, an R2 v3 certified electronics recycler. KVS will securely sanitize or destroy any hard drives.
