Mountain Top residents took advantage of an electronic recycling event on Saturday, Aug. 12.
Sponsored by Fairview, Rice and Rice townships, the event was held at the Wright Township public works yard. A steady stream of residents showed up to recycle broken or unneeded electronic items that ranged from refrigerators to televisions and cell phones.
The recycling was conducted by Responsible Recycling Services (RRS) of Kutztown.
