The Fairview Elementary School fifth-grade class presented “The Rainbow Fish Musical” to a large crowd on March 9. The play is based on the international bestseller and award-winning book, “The Rainbow Fish,” with its message of friendship and belonging.
This large-cast musical featured a variety of charming school and sea-creature characters who admire the famous Rainbow Fish, the most beautiful fish in all the ocean. When Rainbow Fish refuses to share her vibrant, shimmering scales the whole ocean seems to turn against the vain creature. Unhappy that no one adores her anymore, the Rainbow Fish seeks out the wise Octopus who helps the young fish learn that it’s far better to be admired for being kind than for being beautiful.
The large cast included Addison Wychock as Rainbow Fish and Alexander D’Alonzo as Octopus.
