Staff and customers at the Mountaintop Pub and Eatery celebrated both May 4 and May 5 this year.
On May 4, the traditional “May the Fourth Be With You” Star Wars movies celebration was held featuring the pub’s genial bartender Chuck Payne dressed in a Mandalorian costume while guests engaged in light saber battles. The pub served “light saber” drinks.
On May 5, Cinco de Mayo, traditional Mexican food, and drinks were served while staff wore t-shirts noting the holiday. The local band Duck, Duck, Goose provided entertainment.
