The Wright Township Recreation Park is gearing up for another July 4 celebration and is looking for community support.

Scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, with a rain date of July 5, the annual fireworks show is a highlight of the summer season in the Mountain Top area. Year after year, families, friends and neighbors come together to enjoy this community event, and the township is counting on community support to ensure its success.

“To bring this event to life, we rely on the generosity of our community members and local businesses,” said Donald Zampetti, chairman of the township board of supervisors.

The supervisor noted donations are crucial in funding the fireworks display. Anyone interested in contributing to this year’s fireworks display can send a check payable to Wright Recreation and Environmental, Inc. and drop it off at the municipal building or mail it to 321 South Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, PA.

“Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to our fundraising goal,” Zampetti said. “Your contribution is tax deductible and will directly support our efforts to host a safe and enjoyable celebration for all. Thank you for considering our request, and we hope to see you at the park on July 3 as we come together to celebrate our nation’s independence in style,” he added.
