It was slimy, it was slippery. … It was science as usual in the Saint Jude third-grade class as students completed a science lab about all things “sluggish.” Students completed a slug lab using the scientific method. They determined if the slug would gravitate to water or to a pear. The students had so much fun learning the anatomy of the slug and watching to see where the slugs would go. They even had some slugs try to escape their containers and join the students in the classroom.
