LOUDON, N.H. — Joe Gibbs had a New Hampshire race victory to celebrate — and a future dinner to fill his belly courtesy of the 21-pound lobster awarded to winner Christopher Bell — but some things still didn’t feel right to the Hall of Fame team owner.

Fire companies hold open house

Dorrance Township Volunteer Fire and Ambulance and Wright Township Volunteer Fire Department held their first “Fire and Ice” community open house on Sunday, July 17, at Dorrance Township Volunteer Fire Co. headquarters. The event featured a display of fire equipment from both departments as well as the Dorrance Township ambulance, a Wright Township police vehicle, Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal, safety information from Geisinger Medical Center, Smokey Bear and free ice cream.

After winning the District 2 Class 4A championship in 2020, Crestwood took a step backward last season. The Comets won only three games, suffering their first losing season since coach Ryan Arcangeli took over the program in 2019.
