Kiwanis Club donates books
The Kiwanis Club of Mountain Top recently delivered more than 620 books to Rice Elementary, Fairview Elementary and St. Jude schools. Each student in kindergarten, first and second grade received a book of their own to take home. There were extra books for each classroom.

Morris named Crestwood Student of the Quarter

Honey Hole Longbeards announce 2021 turkey contest winners
The Joe “Lucky” Lukashunas Memorial 2021 Spring Turkey contest winners were presented awards by the Honey Hole Longbeards Chapter of the NWTF at a ceremony held at Dave’s Gun Shop in Drums. Winners in each division received an engraved plaque, gift certificates from Dave’s Gun Shop, NWTF memberships and dinners at the 2022 banquet, along with frictions calls donated by the HHLB Chapter.

Senior Jayden Bonham, Junior Khristian Banks and Junior Ty McDermott will represent MMI Preparatory School at the state finals of the Pennsylvania School Press Association’s Student Journalism Competition. The state finals will be held on March 30 at Penn State University’s University Park campus.
