Malacari’s Miniature Golf held its grand opening over Memorial Day weekend. The 18-hold beach-themed course is located at 315 S. Mountain Boulevard, immediately adjacent to Malacari’s Ice Cream and Abe’s Hot Dogs.

							                                Ivan E. Hoyt of Wapwallopen was recently honored by the Kutztown Folk Festival and the Borough of Kutztown for 39 years of participating as a demonstrating craftsman at the annual event.

Wapwallopen resident and retired art teacher, Ivan E. Hoyt was honored June 29 by the Kutztown Folk Festival and the Borough of Kutztown for 39 years of participating as a demonstrating craftsman at the annual event founded in 1950 and considered the longest continuous celebration of folk traditions in the United States.
