White Haven area Cub Scouts receive awards
Pack 25 of White Haven Area recently held their end of session Pack Meeting where Adventures earned, and Ranks attained by the Cub Scouts were awarded. There were three Bobcat, two Lion and one each of Tiger, Bear, Webelos and Arrow of Light Awarded.
Wright Township celebration draws a crowd
Young and old from throughout the area enjoyed the Wright Township fireworks display held on July 3. Families came out early to Wright Township Park to take advantage of beautiful weather and to enjoy a free bounce house, entertainment and lots of great food.
Crestwood Education Association names Freshman Student of Quarter
The Crestwood Education Association has named its Freshman Student of the Quarter. Ethan Zabroski has maintained straight A’s throughout the year and hopes to attend a Military Academy where he intends to major in Biochemistry. Harrings observe 70th wedding anniversary
The Rev. Dr and Mrs. James L. Harring of Mountain Top observed their 70th wedding anniversary on Palm Sunday. They were married on April 10, 1952 in the St. Paul Evangelical United Brethren Church Mount Carmel PA by the Rev. E.B. Harris.
