According to a criminal complaint, Skyler James Lefort, 27, of Exeter, was sent to jail without bail after police charged him with molesting a 15-year-old girl in his home in Birchwood Estates on Nov. 2.
Police said Lefort got the girl drunk while watching a NASCAR race and molested her.
Police obtained a warrant for Lefort’s arrest on charges of corruption of a minor, indecent assault of a minor, harassment, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Police served the warrant on Tuesday at his home, where he was arrested.
Magisterial District Judge Joseph D. Spagnuolo Jr. arraigned Lefort on the charges Wednesday morning and denied bail, deeming him a danger to the community.
Lefort was taken to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 30.
