Crestwood High School girls volleyball team will hold its annual Dig Pink game on Wednesday, October 2, when the Comets host Tunkhannock. The junior varsity game begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by the varsity contest.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.
Crestwood players will be wearing pink jerseys to support Breast Cancer Awareness. A Dig Pink clothing store will be up and running soon for you, family, friends, and anyone that would like to join in on our pink day.
A basket raffle, bake sale and 50/50 will be held.
All proceeds will be going to the Cancer Wellness Center (Candy’s Place). We need your help for this to be a success. If you would like to contribute by donating a basket and/or a pink themed baked goods. To donate a basket or baked goods, contact Kristyn Kile at 570 855-0107 or Angela Chandler at 570 262-1489.
