The Wright Township Police Officers Association and the Rice Township Police Benevolent Association awarded their annual $500 scholarship at this year’s Crestwood High School Class Night.

This year’s scholarship was divided between two equally deserving students, Scarlett Evans and Logan Rolles.

Evans graduated near the top of her class from Crestwood High School while also participating in multiple sports, competitive dance, volunteering in the community, and teaching dance and exercise. She plans to continue her education at Kings College where she will major in political science and pre-law.

Rolles was a three-sport athlete at Crestwood High School and a volunteer in the community which included the annual National Night Out event. Along with athletics and community service, Rolles also works part-time all while maintaining his grades at honor roll status. He plans to attend Elizabethtown College in the fall and major in criminal justice.
