Hanover defeated host Nanticoke 11-3 on Monday in a District 16 Major Softball game.
Hanover pitcher Stella Styczen went all six innings, allowing three earned runs on two hits and two walks while striking out eight.
Offensively, Hanover got contributions from Maddie Martin (3 for 2 with a triple and five RBI), Jillian Weidner (2 for 2 with three runs scored and four stolen bases) and Maliyah Richards (1 for 1 with two walks and two RBI).
Nanticoke was led by Adelyn Hull (1 for 3 with a three-run inside-the-park home run) and Maddy Spencer (1 for 3 with a single.)
