Eli Rushton, grandson of Mountain Top residents Pat and Dolly Rushton, has been nominated for the 2024 ISAAC AWARD as Best Supporting Actor in a male role for his performance as Frump in Bellefonte High School’s production of “Between the Lines.”
Eli is the son of Geoffrey Rushton, Bellefonte, and Mya Swires, also of Bellefonte. He is a sophomore at Bellefonte High School where he is a member of the marching band and Jazz Band. He has performed in numerous musicals both at Bellefonte Middle School and Bellefonte High School.
Presented by Altoona Community Theatre (ACT) the 2024 ISAACS feature 20 schools from a six-county area (Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Centre, Clearfield, Huntingdon). During the year, two panels of judges from ACT views the schools’ musicals and determines the nominations in a variety of production and individual categories.
