Third grade students from St. Jude, Rice and Fairview elementary schools had the opportunity to learn about how their local government operates at Wright Township’s annual Local Government Day held on May 2.
Students got to interact with members of the police department, volunteer fire department, department of public works, ambulance, District Magistrate Ferris Webby and township officials.
They also were treated to drinks courtesy of Gatorade and snacks from Wise Snack, Berwick.
