Twisted Roots Chiropractic and Vito’s Lawn Care & Landscaping have partnered in “Mountain Top Community Roots Renewal,” an initiative aimed at giving back to the Mountain Top community by revitalizing outdoor spaces for individuals in need.

The initiative is open to any residence located within the Crestwood School District.

For the homeowner selected, Vito’s will refresh the landscaping, including removing all weeds, debris and garbage from the property. They will give the beds a fresh edge and trim all existing materials and prune any items that need it. Additionally, Vito’s will top dress the beds with double shredded Shutterfly-free mulch to match the home. The lawn will get a fresh mow, bag all the clippings and edge the perimeter out.

Members of the community can nominate someone who they feel is deserving of the landscape revitalization. The person nominated, for example, can be an older neighbor who needs assistance with lawn maintenance or a family facing financial hardship.

Nomination forms are available at Twisted Roots Chiropractic, 110 N. Mountain Blvd, Mountain Top or print a form by visiting: https://twistedroots.link/nomination. Completed nomination forms must be dropped off in person at the Twisted Roots Chiropractic office by end of business on Monday, May 13.
