Flower Arranging with Floral Focus will be held at the Marian Sutherland Kirby Library at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24. Hayley Forgatch, owner and head floral designer at Mountain Top’s newest floral shop, Floral Focus, will facilitate the class.
Hayley has completed the 270-hour Floral Design Course from the New York Institute of Art and Design. She is also a graduate of King’s College with bachelor degrees in International Business, French and Accounting. She realized her dream of owning and operating a full-service floral shop in January of this year.
Hayley will demonstrate three floral designs during the presentation with include how to design an attractive arrangement, creating a tiered effect and how to make a hand-held bouquet.
An added bonus to attendees is that the arrangements created by Hayley that evening will be raffled off as door prizes. Registration is requested by calling the library 570-474-9313. The library is located at 35 Kirby Ave., Mountain Top.
