Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students at Crestwood High School along with middle school, high school and collegiate members across the country are celebrating national FBLA Week, Feb. 11 through 17.
State Rep. Alec Ryncavage (R-Plymouth) and Wright Township supervisor Paul Krzywicki presented FBLA Week proclamations for the chapter proclaiming February 11-17 as FBLA Week.
Events will recognize the connections FBLA forms among its members and emphasize how FBLA prepares its members to be community-minded business leaders. National FBLA Week activities will include online panels on the importance of mentorship and networking, informational interviews with FBLA partners, and a fundraising challenge to support charities across the country.
Recognition of FBLA Week falls during National Career & Technical Education Month, which highlights the impact of career and technical education (CTE) on student success, workforce development, and the economy.
Alexander T. Graham, FBLA president and CEO said, “FBLA Week is all about celebrating the powerful impact career and technical education has on our students, both in and beyond the classroom.”
