As we begin a new year, the Mountaintop Area Community Association (MACA) would like to share with the community some information about our organization and invite anyone interested in working with MACA to make Mountain Top an even better place to live and work to become members.
What is MACA? We are a community association comprised of individuals, families, businesses, churches, schools, clubs and organizations, volunteering their time and talents, working together for the benefit of Mountain Top.
Who is MACA? We are your friends, neighbors, co-workers, people from all walks of life.
Where is MACA? The entire Mountain Top area. It is where we live, work, play, raise our families and plan our future.
So, what HAS MACA done to make Mountain Top a better place to live and work?
In the past year alone, MACA has sponsored free public seminars on Castle Doctrine/Stand your Ground Laws and the Active Shooter Program at Crestwood High School.
We organized the Cops-N-Canines Fundraiser for the new Rice Township K9 Unit.
MACA participated in “It takes a Village” Drug Awareness Day.
MACA participated in the annual Mountain Top “National Night Out” sponsored by law enforcement agencies throughout the area.
For over 30 years, members of MACA have organized fundraisers and sponsored community events. Several projects for 2024 are already in the works.
Membership is open to everyone who wishes to make Mountain Top the best it can possibly be. For more information, visit our Facebook page or email MACA18707@aol.com.
