For Amanda Weron, Shop Small Business Saturday was an exciting day for her new business, Hue. Hair Lounge.
Weron and her staff hosted an open house to welcome new and old customers to her salon located at 130 N. Mountain Blvd. in the Top of the Mountain Plaza. While the business is new, Weron felt right at home there. The location is the former site of Zzoli Hair Studio where Weron worked for five years. When the owner of the studio decided to re-locate, Weron purchased the business from her.
Since taking over the business, she oversaw a total renovation, including new lighting, new furniture and painting of the interior where pink is the dominant color.
“I’m excited to see my business come to life,” the salon owner offered. “This is an awesome opportunity. I’m blessed to have so many family and friends help me,” she added.
Weron, a 2013 graduate of Crestwood High School and Jolie Beauty Academy, said she is excited to have her own business in Mountain Top. Her salon offers a variety of hair service’s including hair cutting, hair styling, hair lightening & hair coloring. The salon also has a hair extension specialist, she pointed out.
