Families and businesses from Mountain Top and the surrounding area rallied to help make the first annual Putt-Putt for Pediatrics successful.
The event, which ran from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at Malacari’s Ice Cream and Mini Golf, raised $5,181. The funds will support pediatric therapy services at Allied Services.
All weekend, families enjoyed the Halloween decorations, ice cream, scavenger hunt, music and mini-golf hosted by Malacari’s Ice Cream and Mini Golf in Mountain Top. Brian Feist and Crystal Wright planned the event as part of their fundraising efforts for Team Allied Services and You. On Nov. 5, 2023, they will join a team of 63 runners participating in the TCS New York City Marathon to raise funds for patients and residents at Allied Services. Donations are still being accepted at alliedservices.org/teamallied
“It was great to see so many families enjoying time together and supporting such a great cause,” commented Brian Feist, of Mountain Top.
In addition to hosting the event, Malacari’s donated 50% of the admission. Allied Services thanks its generous event sponsors: Balliet Lumber, Bloomsburg Metal, Brass Buckle Restaurant, Button Real Estate, Cornell Cookson LLC, DJ Donnie Evans, the Feist family, Zodiac Printeractive, Little Big Steps, Jason McCloe, Mountaintop Chiropractic, the Pest Rangers, Rockology Music Academy, Skateaway, Travel by Nicole, Triple 6 Tattoos and Vibe with Me.
