Crestwood High School Future Business Leaders of America earned high recognition at the 72nd Annual FBLA State Leadership Conference held in Hershey last month.
The chapter earned 10th place for the William H. Selden Outstanding Chapter, and has been nominated by Pennsylvania FBLA to receive the Hollis and Kitty Guy Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit at the 2023 National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
Thirty-five Crestwood FBLA members competed at the state level in various events. The following students were winners at the state competition: Deven Hazlak – Entrepreneurship State Champion (advancing to compete at the National Leadership Conference), Shreema Rupareliya – Introduction to Business Communications State Champion (advancing to compete at the National Leadership Conference), Faith DeLay – second place Computer Applications (advancing to compete at the National Leadership Conference), Isabella Caporuscio – fifth place Computer Applications, and Owen Kline – ninth place Introduction to Business Communications.
“We are really proud of all our chapter representatives this year at the SLC, and we are thrilled that Crestwood High School could be so well represented by FBLA and all of our individual winners,” said Christy Laubach, FBLA Advisor and business teacher.
