Nearly two dozen volunteers turned out on a gorgeous Saturday morning to participate in the first Wright Township Recreation Board park cleanup held on May 6.
Volunteers, armed with rakes and shovels, helped clean up leaves left from last fall, fallen branches and debris scattered through the park over the winter months.
Among the participants were members of Brownie Troop 33204 and Amazon employees. The cleanup was coordinated by recreation board chairperson Laurel Prohaska and board member Julie Winsock.
