Are you looking to feel, look and perform your best?

Then Elevation Wellness might be just what you’re looking for.

Founded in 2022 by Mountain Top resident Louie Helmecki, Elevation Wellness offers a number of services that can help people get the best out of life.

Located at 172 Mundy St. in Wilkes-Barre, Elevation Wellness provides IV vitamin therapy to fill in the nutritional gaps and boost the immune system. It also offers non-invasive aesthetic treatments that help brighten and tighten skin plus help with losing fat from those hard to work stubborn places on your body. Helmecki’s wife, Stephanie, is co-owner and aesthetics manager.

All of the treatments offered at Elevation Wellness, Helmecki emphasized in a recent interview, are physician formulated and guided and administered by registered nurses.

The Elevation Wellness founder pointed out that for the last few decades, he has been passionate about health and wellness, always looking for ways to improve his health with the latest technology, clinical data, diet/exercise trends, and dietary supplementation. In 2020 after a few years of hearing and reading about it, Helmicki started doing IV vitamin therapy and in late 2021 he did NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) for the first time.

The way he felt from receiving IV Vitamin therapy and especially NAD+, Helmicki said he knew he had to bring a wellness center to Northeast PA so others could experience the same profound effects.

“The area was lacking a center of this type and after exploring several franchises in the health and wellness space I decided that a franchise wasn’t a good fit for me or to people of NEPA,” Helmecki related. After a conversation with the owner of the wellness center in Allentown where he went, Helmecki decided to build something on his own. After putting together a team consisting of two doctors, a nurse practitioner, several RNs, and a center manager, Elevation Wellness opened its doors on Mundy Street in October 2022.

Among the services and treatments offered at Elevation Wellness is IV therapy, a method of administering vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants, and amino acids directly into the bloodstream through intravenous fusion. This therapy provides valuable nutrients to the body, bypassing the digestive system. It can help replenish fluids to flush toxins and restore one’s body to a hydrated state; revive someone from a busy day of work or travel; or help athlete recover from a workout (without the use of steroids). Some IV infusions can help with allergy or migraine relief.

Helmecki noted Elevation Wellness also can help people perform their best with NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) therapy which is administered intravenously and can stimulate cell regeneration in your body. NAD is a coenzyme that binds with elements in your body offering many benefits. He emphasized that Elevation Wellness follows the protocols of Dr. Craig Koniver. This therapy, Helmicki explained, provides numerous benefits. It activates the brain’s neuron function to help regenerate cells; helps protect the brain against cellular damage; increases mental cognition; provides better mental clarity, greater concentration and better memory; and improves metabolism, Helmecki explained.

Other treatments offered at Elevation Wellness include administration of Peptides, short strings of amino acids, typically comprising 2 to 40 amino acids. The company offers a range of peptide protocols that are all designed to achieve different goals, such as sleep quality or fat loss. “This is a cutting-edge form of modern medicine that is designed to help you optimize your health and performance,” Helmicki noted.

Red Light therapy uses tiny LED bulbs that emit low-level wavelengths of red or near-infrared light. Red Light Therapy is applied for brief periods, typically around 10 to 20 minutes per session. It is known to help treat various skin conditions.

Compression therapy, also referred to as “lymphatic drainage and pressotherapy” is a device that uses controlled pressure to increase blood flow. It helps to improve blood flow to your heart, support your veins and decrease swelling in your lower extremities, Helmecki related.
