Elizabeth Bilbow, of Mountain Top, recently won the state title in her age group at the Knights of Columbus Pennsylvania State Free Throw championships held in York.
Representing St. Jude Council No. 6440, Bilbow, the Northeast Regional winner, captured the state championship in the 11-year-old category with a score of 20.
In addition to Bilbow, St. Jude Council No. 6440, had three other regional winners reach the state finals. In the girls 9-year-old division, Alivia Detweiller competed, as did Alivia Sweet in the girls 12-year-old group. In the boys division, Matthew Mascarenhas competed in the 14-year-old category.
