On the hunt at the library

The Marian Sutherland Library recently held a Teen Winter/Valentine Scavenger Hunt. Twenty youngsters in grades 6 through 12 turned out for the event. Participants each were given a list of items they had to find and put in their bags. They scoured the main floor of the library searching for books and other items with the assistance of Lisa Haasis, library assistant for teen services. When they located their item they earned a raffle ticket. At the end of the hunt, tickets were put into a jar and a drawing was held for gift cards.
