The St. Jude Council No. 6440 of the Knights of Columbus, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022-23, was recently presented its third straight Star Council Award. The presentation was made by District Deputy Francis Kennedy.
The Star Council Award recognizes outstanding achievement in membership, insurance and Service Program activities.
Requirements for achieving Star Council Award are:
• Earn the Father McGivney Award for Membership Growth
• Earn the Columbian Award for Quality Faith-Filled Family Programs
• Earn the Founders Award for Insurance Growth
The 2021-22 team of Mark Rongone as program director and Mark Shade as membership director spearheaded the Council’s effort.
