The Crestwood Future Business Leaders of America officers and executive board attended the State Leadership Workshops at Kalahari Convention Center from Oct. 30 to 31. During the SLW, the FBLA members had the opportunity to attend seven different workshops that helped to cultivate leadership skills both in and out the classroom, network with other FBLA members from across the state, and raise money for the FBLA State Project: Make-a-Wish Foundation. While attending the conference, the chapter participated in the SLW Charity Walk to help support the state project. Crestwood’s chapter raised and donated $500 to the walk, where they earned 3rd place for top chapter contributors. The chapter is advised by Crestwood business teacher, Mrs. Christy Laubach.
