The Wright Township Environmental Advisory Council held an environmental education event on Saturday, Oct. 8, in front of the township municipal building.
Participants included the Crestwood Environmental Club, Penn State Cooperative Extension, Luzerne County Conservation District, Barry Isett Engineering and CDE Exotics. Education efforts includes recycling, storm-water management, watershed and other environmental topics. Recycling bins and rain barrels were given away.
