The Wright Township Police Officer Association held its annual cornhole tournament on Saturday, Oct. 7, at American Legion Post 781.

Ten teams participated in the tournament. Proceeds support several of the association’s community service projects, including the WTPOA scholarship, which is given to a Crestwood graduate who is planning an education in the public service field.

Other past recipients include the Mountaintop Food Bank, various youth sports teams, local churches, holiday donations for the needy, a bicycle rodeo, children’s fingerprinting programs, National Night Out and the local DARE program.
