The Marian Sutherland Kirby Library is looking for adults who can spend a few hours a week to assist at the Circulation Desk, answer phone calls, issue library cards, shelve materials, shelf-read and help patrons. Training will be provided however, basic computer knowledge is required.
The Marian Sutherland Kirby Library is a nonprofit organization that relies on dedicated volunteers to assist library staff in the daily operation of the library. Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and meet people. Please note that adult volunteers are required to complete Criminal and Child Abuse background clearances.
Shifts currently available:
• Tuesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Wednesday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Friday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
