Wright Township police department received a new police vehicle on May 9. The vehicle was purchased through the state COSTARS program from Rottet Motors, Tamaqua, at a cost of $49,828. The 2022 Ford SUV police package includes a lock box for officers to secure their firearms and bars on rear side windows.
