The Marian Sutherland Kirby Library will host Meet the Author: Correale Frank Stevens on Saturday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This is a drop-in event and registration is not required.
Stevens is a judge of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. He has served as a member of the state House of Representatives, Luzerne County district attorney and Luzerne County Common Pleas Court judge. He is a writer, college adjunct, lecturer, and television personality, appearing on the Judge Stevens Show and on Veterans’ Views.
His debut novel, Willowist: the Return of the Third Reich, started out as an idea of a whimsical story about senior citizens in a resort and their relationships that developed. The book, which took seven years to complete, is described as a thrilling novel about senior citizen Nazi hunters whose main heroine is a 60-something female special ops military leader.
More information about the book and Stevens can be found at correalestevens.com.

How did Stevens, born in 1946, avoid the draft and Vietnam? If he had served, he would have had far better novel material.
