Two businesses hosting coloring contests this month are still accepting submissions from local child artists.
309 Fuel and Convenience is asking for submissions to celebrate their beloved Red-Eared slider turtle Miss Bonnie’s birthday. All you have to do is stop in for a coloring page, color it to your heart’s desire, sign with name and age and bring it back in.
After Miss Bonnie’s birthday celebration, prizes will be given. There will be three age categories, 1-4 years, 5-8 years and 9+. Submissions will be accepted until April 10.
A and R’s Building Supply will be hosting their 47th Annual Easter Coloring Contest. Participants will be given an Easter Bunny coloring sheet to decorate and bring back by April 15. The contest is open to children up to age 10, and prizes will be awarded on April 23 at 10 am. Local residents only.
