The Think Pink Foundation will be hosting a Blindfolded Ham and Cabbage bowling event on March 19. If you haven’t had the chance to check out the newly renovated Broadway Tavern, now’s your chance!

The event is $10 to attend, $15 for bowling and a T-Shirt. Food, snacks, water and soda is included. Patrons are encouraged to wear green. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will begin at 7 p.m.

Music will be provided by local duo, 2Rockaholix.

The foundation is currently looking for sponsors, donations, food and baskets.

Think Pink was founded in 2012 to offer “relief to local families in need of support during their fight against cancer. The objective will be to provide aid and comfort in many different capacities to ease the burden on those affected by the disease.”

The foundation is dedicated to helping “local women and families in Luzerne County, currently in treatment, with the expenditures that they incur while undergoing treatment, such as: insurance co-pays, insurance deductibles, treatment not covered by insurance, gas, groceries, child care, etc.”
