The Honey Hole Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will be holding its 23rd annual Hunting Heritage Banquet on Saturday, March 12, at Edgewood in the Pines in Drums. Doors open at 4 p.m. with dinner served at 5:30 p.m.
Entertainment for the evening will include raffles, silent and verbal auctions, along with food and refreshments.
The chapter has supported local initiatives such as habitat improvement projects on State Game Lands and Nescopeck State Park, Turkey Hunters Care program, scholarships for high school seniors, grants to support university and wildlife agency research, outdoor education programs for women, youth and persons with disabilities.
